Central location and good transport connections

The Goldener Brunnen is located directly on the banks of the Traun (river) in the middle of the historic old town of Gmunden on the Traunsee (lake).

Our hotel is easily accessible and offers good transport connections:

• by plane: the airports of Salzburg and Linz are only an hour's drive away from us. Ask for a comfortable and inexpensive travel recommendation
• by public transport: regular train connections on the Westbahn line to Attnang-Puchheim and further to Gmunden, tram to the city
• by car: A1 Westautobahn, depending on the direction of travel take exit Regau or Laakirchen West, continue to Gmunden. Those arriving by car will find parking spaces directly at the hotel via the access road Gmunden Ost - Traunbrücke - Kößlmühlgasse.

But once arrived at the hotel, one does not need a car anymore in order to get around the city adequately: The Keramikhotel Goldener Brunnen is located in the centre of Gmunden.
